- 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 650 to be priced around Rs 6.45 lakhs to Rs 6.75 lakhs
- Gets new features and two new colour schemes
- To be launched in the next couple of weeks
The new Kawasaki Ninja 650 is set to be launched in India soon priced between Rs 6.45 lakhs to Rs 6.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). This pricing will positioned it at a premium of Rs 50, 000-Rs 70,000 over the current model which costs Rs 5.89 lakhs.
To compensate for the additional costs, the new Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets slight cosmetic tweaks and new features. To begin with, the motorcycle sports a redesigned fairing and split full-LED headlights which lend the Ninja 650 an aggressive appeal. It also gets a new and muscular fuel tank that provides additional thigh support for the rider.
In terms of features, the Ninja 650 comes equipped with a 4.3-inch full-colour TFT display that is Bluetooth enabled. The instrument cluster can be paired to a smartphone via Kawasaki’s app that also provides the motorcycle status and ride data. The Ninja 650’s 649cc, parallel-twin motor is now BS6-compliant which has resulted in a 1.7Nm decrease in torque as compared to the previous model. Nevertheless, the power figure remains the same at 67.2bhp.
Kawasaki is offering the Ninja 650 in two colour option- KRT Green and Pearl Blizzard White which features green highlights. Bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across India and deliveries are likely to take place a couple of weeks after its official launch in the country.
