- New KTM 390 Duke to come with new colour option
- To get bi-directional quickshifter as standard
- Likely to be launched in early February
The new KTM 390 Duke has been spotted at a dealership suggesting that the motorcycle will be launched in India in the next couple of weeks.
As part of the update, the 2020 390 Duke sports a new colour scheme. It gets a matte silver with black paint complemented by orange on the wheels and frame. The new 390 Duke also features minimal sticker work that replaces the outgoing model’s bold graphics. However, the major upgrade comes in the form of the KTM Quickshifter Plus which comes as standard equipment. The Quickshifter Plus is a bi-directional unit that enables clutchless upshifts as well as downshifts.
The new KTM 390 Duke’s 373cc, single-cylinder mill is now BS6-compliant and sports a large catalytic converter underneath. While power figures are yet to be revealed; it is likely to continue with the same 43bhp and 37Nm of torque output. Apart from these changes, the motorcycle seems to remain largely unchanged.
We can expect KTM to price the new 390 Duke at a premium of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 over the current model which retails at Rs 2.48 lakhs. (ex-showroom).
