- New KTM 200 Duke gets completely new styling
- No change in power figures
- Bookings commenced across India
KTM has launched the new 200 Duke in India with a price tag of Rs 1.72 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is a hike of Rs 10,496 over the previous model.
The motorcycle gets completely new styling and bodywork borrowed from the 250 Duke. So there is the angular headlamp with the LED DRL, the aggressive fuel tank (now 13.5-litres as compared to the previous 10.2-litre fuel tank) along with the sleek tail section with a split seat setup. Moreover, the new KTM 200 Duke comes in two colour options with refreshed graphics. It is available in an orange and black paint scheme and a white with black paint scheme.
Apart from this, the motorcycle’s 199cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor is now BS6-compliant. However, it produces the same 24.6bhp and 19.3Nm of torque. As for cycle parts, KTM has retained the same suspension and braking hardware as the previous model.
Bookings for the motorcycle have already commenced in KTM dealerships across India and deliveries are expected to take place in a few weeks.
