KTM launches BS6 250 Duke, 390 Duke; prices hiked by up to Rs 4,716

- BS6-compliant KTM 250 Duke, 390 Duke launched

- 250 Duke now comes with slipper clutch and Supermoto mode for ABS

KTM has launched the new BS6-compliant versions of its naked streetbikes, the 250 Duke and the 390 Duke. The former is priced at Rs 2,00,576 while the latter costs Rs 2,52,928 which is a premium of Rs 3,328 and Rs 4,716, respectively, as compared to their BS4 counterparts. 

Both motorcycles now feature an engine revised in accordance with upcoming emission norms. In spite of that, the power figures have remained unchanged. The 390 Duke continues to produce 42.9bhp and 37Nm from its 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor. On the other hand, the 250 Duke also retains its performance which stands at 29.6bhp and 24Nm from its 248.76cc, liquid-cooled. 

Both bikes have also been updated in terms of features. Interestingly, while the 390 Duke was already equipped with a slipper clutch, now it also features a bi-directional quickshifter which is borrowed from its Adventure sibling. It allows you to upshift and downshift gears without having to use the clutch. As for the 250 Duke, the motorcycle now gets a slipper clutch as well as Supermoto mode for its dual-channel ABS setup which lets you deactivate ABS only for the rear wheel. 

In order to lend them a fresh appeal, KTM also introduced new paint schemes and graphics for both models. The 390 Duke is now available in Silver Metallic and Ceramic White colour options and the 250 Duke comes in Silver Metallic and Dark Galvano shades.
