- BS6 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will retain the styling of the BS4 models
- Price will rise by INR 3,033
- BS6 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will arrive dual-channel ABS
The BS6 Bajaj range has started to arrive at the dealerships, although we are yet to hear an official launch announcement from the company. While we await the launch details, dealer sources have revealed the price list of the BS6 compliant Bajaj motorcycles. Among the updated, BS6 compliant models is the Bajaj RS200, which will arrive at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1,43,717 as against Rs 1,40,750 of the BS4 motorcycle.
Similar to the rest of the BS6 Bajaj range, the updated RS200 will retain the styling of the old (BS4) motorcycle. However, we could see revised graphics and colour options on the latest iteration of the vehicle. The BS6 RS200, as reported earlier, will arrive with a dual-channel ABS instead of single-channel ABS on the BS4 bike.
Mechanical specifications on the BS4 model already included a fuel injection system – a feature that is mandatory for all BS6 motorcycles. The upgrades to the motor will bring a new catalytic convertor and an O2 sensor. The power and torque output figures are unlikely to change much with the BS6 transition. The BS4 motorcycle, for reference, was tuned to draw 24.5bhp and 18.6Nm from its 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine.
The feature list will continue to comprise projector headlights, LED blinkers, LED taillight, semi-digital instrument cluster, conventional telescopic forks, preload adjustable mono-shock and disc brakes on both wheels.
