- Bajaj launches BS6 Pulsar 150 single disc and twin disc
- Prices hiked by around Rs 9,000 over BS4 model
- Remains unchanged in all aspects apart from the engine
After we recently revealed the prices of the BS6-compliant Bajaj Pulsar 150 models, the company has now officially launched the single disc and twin disc variants of the motorcycle. While the former has been priced at Rs 94,956, the latter costs Rs 98,835 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). Considering the new prices, both models of the Pulsar have received a hike of around Rs 9,000 over their BS4 counterparts.
The Pulsar 150 is now powered by a 150cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled motor which now features fuel-injection, as opposed to the previous carbureted setup. Interestingly, the power remains unchanged at 13.8bhp but the torque has seen a marginal drop of 0.15Nm at 13.25Nm. Also, both power and torque come in 500rpm latter now as compared to the BS4 engine.
Besides the changes in its powerplant, the Pulsar 150 remains unchanged in all other aspects. It continues to ride on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends which are suspended by telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a disc brake up front and drum brake at the rear with the rear disc being available as an option. The motorcycle continues with its muscular styling comprising of angular body panels and a 15 litre fuel tank.
The Pulsar 150 single disc and twin disc are on sale at all Bajaj authorised dealerships across India. The available colours for both models include black chrome and black red.
