- Prices revealed and bookings open
KTM has announced that the deliveries of the BS6-compliant 125 Duke and the RC 125 will only begin from April 2020.
However, the manufacturer has already revealed the pricing of both motorcycles and bookings have commenced in showrooms across India as well. The 125 Duke is priced at Rs 1.38 lakhs while the RC 125 costs Rs 1.55 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Both motorcycles come powered by the same, 124cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that has been revised to make it BS6-compliant. Nevertheless, the motor continues to produce the same14.5bhp and 12Nm of torque like the BS4 version.
Apart from the BS6 engine, the 125 Duke gets no changes. However, the RC 125 sports a new paint scheme that consists of white and orange and a bold ‘RC’ logo across the fairing. The rest of the motorcycle remains the same. In terms of cycle parts too, the 125 Duke and RC 125 carry forward the suspension and braking duties of the previous models.
