- Revolt to expand operations in four more cities
- RV300, RV400 currently available only in Delhi and Pune
- Waiting period for the electric bikes will be three months from March
Revolt Intellicorp entered into the Indian two-wheeler market in August last year by launching two electric motorcycles, the RV300 and the RV400. Currently, the company has presence only in two cities including Delhi and Pune. Starting this month, Revolt plans to expand its reach by entering into four more major cities across India.
Revolt will introduce its electric motorcycles in Ahmedabad on 29 February which will soon be followed by Hyderabad on 2 March. Next up will be Chennai on 5 March while Mumbai will witness the launch of these bikes by the end of next month. Notably, for bookings received starting from March, the waiting period for both bikes will be around three months. This is down from the previous five-month waiting period, as affirmed by the company.
Revolt had launched the AI-enabled RV300 and RV400 with monthly installment plans for providing easy buying and ownership experience to the customers. While the former can be purchased with an EMI plan of Rs 2,999 per month, the latter can be bought with Rs 3,999 per month plan. For the customers who want to buy the electric motorcycles by paying full amount up front, Revolt had also introduced this facility from October 2019. Under this plan, the RV300 costs Rs 84,999 and the RV400 retails at Rs 98,999 (both prices are ex-showroom).
