- Dominar 250 to be priced at Rs 1.6 lakhs
- Gets 250cc liquid-cooled motor
- Will be available in red paint scheme
Just a few days ago, we told you that Bajaj will launch their new Dominar 250 in March. And now, thanks to our sources, we have the price of the Dominar 250. This new quarter-litre Bajaj will be priced at Rs 1.6 lakhs (ex-showroom, Bangalore).
The Dominar 250 is Rs 31,000 cheaper than the Dominar 400. While the overall styling resembles the 400cc sibling, it does get some cheaper parts. The Dominar 250 is equipped with a box-type swingarm and the alloy wheels don’t get the silver highlights that is seen on the Dominar 400.
Other aspects of the motorcycles like the full LED headlamps, USD front forks, instrument cluster, split-seat and twin-pod exhaust canister have been borrowed from the Dominar 400. In order to make the Dominar 250 look a bit exclusive, Bajaj has given the Dominar 250 a bright red paint scheme, along with a black one too.
At the current price, the Dominar 250 will compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 200, Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X and the Jawa standard.
