TVS Motor Company has finally introduced the BS6 variant of its most affordable scooter, the Scooty Pep Plus. This new Scooty Pep Plus has been priced at Rs 51,754, making it Rs 6,700 more expensive than the BS4 variant.
According to the company’s official website, there are two additional variants on offer – blue and red matte which are priced at Rs 52,954 each. These two variants continues to offer the same features and performance as the standard variant. The only aspect that’s different is the paint scheme.
The BS6 Pep Plus is powered by a 90cc single-cylinder engine that churns out around 5bhp and 5.8Nm of peak torque. This motor is mated to a CVT gearbox. The Pep Plus was always positioned as an entry-level light scooter for the young females. With a kerb weight of 95kgs, it’s easily one of the lightest two-wheelers sold in India.
