- XPulse 200 BS6 makes less power and torque than BS4 model
- Styling, features and key dimensions remain unchanged
- Unofficial bookings open at select dealerships
Hero MotoCorp has revealed the complete technical specifications of the upcoming XPulse 200 BS6 ahead of its India launch. As seen in the spec sheet, the fuel-injection system-equipped 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine produces 17.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. In comparison, the carburettor-equipped BS4 motorcycle was tuned to deliver 18.1bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm.
The key dimensions such as the length, width, height and the wheelbase remain identical to the BS4 motorcycle. The kerb weight, however, has increased marginally and the new bike is 3kg heavier than its predecessor (156kg vs 153kg). Surprisingly, despite the re-routed exhaust system, the ground clearance still stands 220mm tall.
We have already brought you the images of the BS6 motorcycle, and the latest iteration retains the styling cues and feature list from its predecessor. Thus, the XPulse 200 BS6 continues to feature a full-LED headlight and a LED taillight, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, wire-spoke wheels (21-inch front and 18-inch rear) and a tall-set exhaust.
The motorcycle is available in five colour options – White, Matte Green, Matte Grey, Sports Red and Panther Black. The unofficial bookings for the XPulse 200 BS6 have already commenced.
