- BS6 Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT to be launched soon
- No mechanical details revealed
- Three big bikes removed from the website
Suzuki has teased the V-Strom 650 XT BS6 on its official website, hinting that the motorcycle will be launched in India soon.
The manufacturer hasn’t revealed any details of the updated motorcycle, although the 645cc, V-Twin motor could have slightly revised power figures. For reference, the BS4 model produced 71bhp and 62Nm. Nevertheless, the updated V-Strom 650 XT is likely to sport the same features as before. It will offer an analogue-digital instrument cluster, adjustable windscreen, and rider aids like three-level traction control, Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist.
The BS6 V-Strom 6560 XT is also likely to remain the same in terms of cycle parts. The previous model uses 43mm telescopic forks and rebound and preload-adjustable monoshock for suspension. Meanwhile, braking hardware consisted of dual-310mm discs up front and a 260mm disc at the rear along with dual-channel ABS. Colour options are also expected to be unchanged and the BS6 V-Strom 650 will be offered in Champion Yellow and Pearl White Glacier paint options.
While teasing the arrival of the BS6 V-Strom 650 XT, Suzuki has also removed three other big bikes from its official website. These include the GSX R1000, GSX S750 and GSX S1000. However, we can expect the manufacturer to introduce the updated models for the motorcycles in the next few months.
