The ongoing lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic has restricted the sales of two-wheelers through dealerships. However, you can still book most of the two-wheelers online and a few manufacturers are also giving away attractive bonus on doing so. One such brand is Hero Electric which is offering a cash discount of up to Rs 5,000 on booking one of its electric two-wheelers online.
The price cut of Rs 5,000 is applicable on all models including all variants of Optima, NYX, Photon, Dash and Flash. However, the only model on which Hero Electric is not giving the said discount is the e2 variant of the Flash. Furthermore, the buyers of the Glyde push scooter and and Velocity e-cycle can avail a concession of Rs 3,000.
The online booking amount for all these electric two-wheelers stands at Rs 2,999. Although it is non-refundable, the amount will be refunded in case the lockdown extends beyond June 2020. The aforementioned offer is valid from 17 April to 15 May 2020 and the customers can take the delivery of their booked vehicle after the lockdown lifts, until 30 June.
Owing to much lesser number of petrol-powered vehicles plying on the road due to the lockdown, a drastic reduction in air-pollution has been observed. Hero Electric has taken this up as an opportunity to push the adaption of electric two-wheelers by rolling out the enticing discounts.
