- Jawa likely to export to Europe
- Launch timeline not revealed
- Entire line-up to be launched there
Classic Legends is reportedly planning to launch the Jawa brand in Europe this year. The Jawa line-up consists of the Jawa Standard, Jawa Forty-Two, and the Perak. Built at the brand’s facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, the motorcycles are likely to be exported to Europe. And since the three motorcycles already comply with Euro 5 (BS6) norms, they would only require slight tweaks for European homologations.
As for the motorcycles, the Jawa Classic is a replica of the original motorcycle whereas the Jawa Forty-Two is a slightly modern take on the same. Both motorcycles come powered by a 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is fuel-injected. The motor puts out 27bhp and 28Nm and is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
On the other hand, the Perak is a custom-inspired bobber motorcycle. It gets a completely blacked-out look with a unique floating seat. The Jawa Perak uses a bigger 334cc, liquid-cooled, and fuel-injected single-cylinder engine which produces 30bhp and 31Nm.
