- New Cygnus-X 125 spotted testing
- Gets new aggressive front
- Likely to get liquid-cooled engine
Yamaha has been working on a brand new 125cc scooter for some of the South East Asian markets. It goes by the name Cygnus-X 125 and it as has been spotted on test again.
The test mule was equipped with split headlamp unit which is likely to get integrated LED units. The turn indicators are large and have been placed on the edge of the apron. Yamaha is looking to feature an aggressive styling on this upcoming scooter.
Being a premium scooter, this scooter is likely to get a host of features that is bound to make it look exciting. The large exhaust, the sharp tail section and the nicely cut wheels suggests the same. According to some reports, the Cygnus-X 125 is likely to borrow few cycle parts from NMax.
This scooter is rumoured to get a new liquid-cooled 125cc engine. This engine is also seen on the Nmax 125. So it makes sense for the Japanese maker to share the motor to keep costs in check. However, we should hear about the powertrain as we get closer to the launch.
