Bajaj Auto has given the entry-level Pulsar 150 motorcycle, the Pulsar 150 Neon a styling upgrade in the form of a new engine cowl. The body panel was previously seen on the premium variants of the Pulsar 150 series and the higher displacement Pulsar models.
The new engine cowl features the same paint and graphics as the rest of the body panels. The cowl adds a sporty look to the 150cc motorcycle. The changes are limited to the addition of the engine cowl. Rest of the specifications and hardware remain unaltered.
The Pulsar 150 Neon is available in three colours – Neon Red, Neon Silver and Neon Lime Green. The red and silver colour options feature a glossy finish while the lime green paint gets a matte treatment.
The motorcycle uses a BS6-compliant, 149.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 13.6bhp of peak power at 8,000rpm and 13.4Nm of maximum torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Anchoring department comprises of a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear while the safety net includes a single-channel ABS.
Bajaj Auto recently revised the prices of its products. During the price revision, the Pulsar 150 Neon got a hike of Rs 4,467, and the motorcycle is now sold for Rs 90,003 (ex-showroom Delhi).
