TVS Motor Company has revised the prices of its 110cc commuter motorcycle, the Radeon BS6. The motorcycle has received a marginal price increase of Rs 750 on the ex-showroom tag. With the new prices in effect, the base model is available for Rs 59,742. Check out the complete prices in the table below:
The BS6-compliant model, which was launched in April 2020, carried a price premium of Rs 6,632 to Rs 8,632 over its BS4 version. The latest iteration of the commuter motorcycle uses a 109.7cc, air-cooled engine with a fuel injection system that is tuned to produce 8.08bhp of maximum power at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. The motor is linked to a four-speed transmission. TVS claims that the BS6-compliant engine delivers 15 per cent better fuel economy than the BS4 motor.
The braking hardware on the standard model only includes drum brakes while the Commuter Bike of the Year variant is available with an optional disc at the front. The standard model is available in six colour options – white, black, beige, purple, red and grey. The special edition, on the other hand, comes in black and brown paint schemes. The TVS Radeon competes against the Hero Splendor iSmart 110 and TVS Star City Plus.
