Hero MotoCorp has finally launched their most awaited motorcycle, the Xtreme 160R. The bike has been priced at Rs 99,950 for the front disc variant and Rs 1.03 lakh for the double disc variant.
This Xtreme 160R was supposed to be launched in March but got delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Just a few days ago, the company started test ride bookings on its official website.
The bike features an aggressive streetfighter design that is complemented by premium hardware such as full-LED lighting, full-digital display, muscular fuel tank, edgy tank extensions and sleek rear section.The hardware on the motorcycle includes telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock to perform the shock absorption tasks. The braking setup comprises of petal-type disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net includes a single-channel ABS. The new Xtreme 160R is powered by a 160cc, air-cooled engine with a fuel-injection system that delivers 15bhp at 8,500rpm and 14Nm at 6,500rpm.
This Hero motorcycle will go against the the Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Yamaha FZ V3 in the Indian market. The Xtreme 160R will be available in three colours – white, blue and red.
