- Disc brake version gets a price hike
- Drum brake model and split-seat variant unaffected by the revision
- No cosmetic or mechanical upgrades
Bajaj Auto has revised the prices of several models, and the recent hike also affects the smallest displacement variant of the Pulsar series, the Pulsar 125.
The price hike affects the disc brake variant of the entry-level Pulsar model that is now available for Rs 75,763 as against Rs 75,462. The drum brake version and the recently launched split-seat model remain unaffected by the price revision. The Pulsar 125 BS6 drum brake version is priced at Rs 70,963 while the split-seat model is available for Rs 79,059.
The Pulsar 125 makes the Pulsar brand more accessible. The model aims to attract young buyers, and it thus packs styling cues that are inspired by the Pulsar 150 series. The 125cc model packs a muscular design that further enhanced by a headlamp cowl, semi-digital instrument cluster and the sharp tail section with split-LED tail lamp.
The motorcycle is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 11.6bhp and 11Nm of peak torque. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The Pulsar 125 rivals the likes of Honda SP 125, Hero Glamour and the likes.
