India Yamaha Motor has announced the prices of its BS6-compliant quarter-litre roadster motorcycles, the FZ 25 and the FZS 25. The two models were revealed in February this year. The FZ 25 will be available in India from 27 July 2020. India Yamaha Motor will confirm the availability of the all-new FZS 25 later.
The FZ 25 is priced at Rs 1,52,100 while the FZS 25 will be available for Rs 1,57,100 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Both variants of the FZ 25 series use the same 249cc, air-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 20.1Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The feature list on both models includes negative LCD instrument cluster, LED day time running lamp, LED headlight, under cowling and side stand with engine cut-off switch. The FZS 25 is distinguished from the standard model with the addition of a long visor, brush guards on the handle grips and golden alloy wheels.
The FZ 25 is available in two colour choices – Metallic Black and Racing Blue. The FZS 25, on the other hand, will be offered in three colour options – Patina Green, White-Vermillion and Dark Matt Blue.
