Harley-Davidson has made its most-affordable motorcycle in India even more affordable by reducing its price by Rs 65,000. Now, the prices of the Street 750 BS6 start at Rs 4.69 lakh, which is for the Vivid Black colour option. Other paint schemes including Performance Orange, Black Denim, Vivid Black Deluxe and Barracuda Silver Deluxe demand a premium of Rs 12,000. Notably, the motorcycle was previously priced at Rs 5.34 lakh (All prices are ex-showroom).
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 sports a modern cruiser styling with a round headlamp accompanied by a small cowl, peanut-shaped fuel tank, stubby tail, chunky wheels and chopped fenders. The blacked-out treatment on all body panels gives it a modern, factory custom cruiser look. With a pulled back handlebar, forward-set footpegs and a large seat, the Street 750 offers comfortable ergonomics.
Powering the bike is a Revolution X, 749cc, V-twin engine, liquid-cooled engine which belts out 59Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. It rides on 17-15-inch alloy wheel combination which is suspended by telescopic forks up front and gas-charged dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by a disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle weighs 233kg (kerb) and incorporates a 13.1 litre fuel tank.
In India, the Harley-Davidson Street 750 goes up against the likes of the Kawasaki Vulcan S and Triumph Street Twin.
