- New RC390 spotted on test
- Gets new fairing, styling
- Will sport revised ergonomics
We all know KTM has been developing a new RC390. Some test mules of this bike were spotted a few months ago. But this time, the bike has been spotted sans camouflage due to which a lot of details have been revealed.
The most important change that will be seen on the 2021 KTM RC390 is in its styling. The front fairing and looks much sharper now. The windscreen is larger too, that is bound to improve the overall riding comfort of the rider.
According to rumours, the new RC390 will get a revised main frame and a new sub-frame. This will also help in improving the overall ergonomics of the bike. The current setup is extremely sporty. With the revised ergonomics, we can expect a more practical city riding approach. The 390cc single-cylinder engine will be Euro 5 compliant and this will be achieved by using new cylinder head and manifold guide.
KTM is likely to reveal this new fully-faired motorcycle at the end of this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the two big two-wheeler shows, Intermor and EICMA have been cancelled. So it looks like the Austrian company will have a digital unveil of this motorcycle. We believe India launch will happen at the start of 2021.
