5 bikes we are excited about in 2019

The New Year is here and so is our refreshed desire for some great motorcycles. The past one year surely was an action-filled one, and 2019 promises to be even better. There are a lot of launches planned, and thanks to the new ABS and CBS norms, manufacturers will be very busy updating their entire line-up. And all of this has pushed us on the edge of our seats. So, here’s a list of five bikes that has got us really excited. Some of these bikes promise to be fun, and some others are sure to give you that adrenaline rush.

Yamaha FZ V 3.0

The FZ has a cult following in India. When the first generation was launched many years ago, the fat rear tyre and the macho tank design made it an instant hit amongst the Indian youth. This bike is likely to do that again when it launches the version 3 in India this year. In fact, this bike is expected to be unveiled in the next few weeks.

Hero XPulse

India is a land of adventure and hence, it needs a motorcycle that can traverse through the vast terrains. The XPulse planned to offer an adventurous experience without spending many lakhs. This 200cc ADV also has a touring counterpart which goes by the name XPulse 200T. Both the bikes will hit the market in a month or two.

KTM 390 ADV

A lot of us were disappointed when the KTM 390 Adventure didn’t make it to 2018 EICMA. But the recent prototype spy shots have made us excited and nervous at the same time. This ADV has been under development since the last four years and that has raised our expectations. Nevertheless, let’s keep our fingers crossed and expect a terrific product.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

Just when the country felt that it will never get a 600cc supersport, Kawasaki dropped a bomb with the Ninja ZX-6R. This bike is known for its great styling and performance. The perfect bike for your bedroom poster, it is finally going to make its way to India as a semi-knocked-down (SKD) unit.

Triumph 1200 Scrambler

We recently rode this Triumph in Portugal and were blown away by the way it performed. This modern-retro looking motorcycle is an adventure bike with less clothes. It’s capable, is loaded with tech and has a gorgeous design. All of this has got us drooling over this bike and we are eagerly waiting for it to launch in India.
