The 2022 EICMA is just a day and we can’t contain our excitement. EICMA is where the world sees the new motorcycles and scooters that will be launched in the world market eventually. And 2022 could be the biggest one ever and a lot of brands are readying brand new products for world debut.
Super Meteor 650
The Royal Enfield Meteor 650 is possibly the bike we are most excited about. This motorcycle could change the Indian motorcycle scene for good as there’s a parallel-twin motorcycle at around Rs 3 lakh price point. Plus, the Interceptor 650 has proved how good that engine platform is. The Super Meteor 650 with its cruiser nature is bound to help Royal Enfield get new customers into the brand
Honda Transalp 750
The rumours of a smaller Africa Twin will finally come to reality when Honda unveils the new Transalp 750 at EICMA 2022. This production-ready bike was spotted a few weeks ago while being shot for a commercial and it looks quite exciting as the bike has design inspiration from the Africa Twin as well as the CB500X. This middleweight ADV will go against the Yamaha Tenere 700, Triumph Tiger 900 and BMW F850GS. The Transalp 750 will come to India sometime next year but could come with an expensive price tag.
Next generation KTM Duke Series
KTM will finally unveil the next-generation Duke series. From the spy shots, it is clear that this brand will get a new engine which could churn out more power and torque. The chassis also looked brand new. So we can expect the overall handling and ride abilities to be much better. Like the current generation model, the new KTM Duke series will also be made in India by Bajaj and will be exported.
Suzuki V-Strom 700
Suzuki has developed a brand new 700cc parallel-twin engine and the V-Strom could be the first bike to get this. The bike has been spotted multiple times in Europe, but it did reveal new styling and engine configuration. There’s a street bike under development as well. So there’s a high chance of the world seeing two new bikes from Suzuki.
Harley-Davidson Pan America 950
Harley-Davidson is rumoured to be working on a smaller version of the Pan America 1250. In fact, over the last few weeks, there have been some leaks related to Pan America 950. These leaks were related to spare parts and accessories of the ADV. So the bike is there and we may see it at the 2022 EICMA.
