5 highest-selling 150-160cc motorcycles in November: Honda Unicorn, Bajaj Pulsar, and more!

The 150-160cc motorcycles in India offer an enticing blend of practicality and a bit of excitement. That’s the reason these are amongst the highest-selling motorcycles, which is evident in the sales data rolled out by SIAM for November 2022. If you’re curious to know which 150-160cc bikes found the highest number of takers last month, here are the top 5 contenders.

Honda Unicorn

The Honda Unicorn continued its streak of being the best-selling motorcycle in this segment in November. The Japanese bike maker sold 28,729 units of the Unicorn in India last month. What’s commendable is that these many sales were recorded by just a single model, unlike most of the consecutive two-wheelers in this list that are spread across multiple iterations but the SIAM data shows their collective sales.

TVS Apache

The motorcycle brand which claimed the second position in this list is the TVS Apache. The Hosur-based bike maker sold 27,122 units of these bikes which is a combined figure for the Apache RTR 160 and the Apache RTR 160 4V. While this is impressive, the year-on-year sales of these bikes went marginally down from 28,608 units in the same month last year.

Bajaj Pulsar

Following the TVS Apache closely in this list is the Bajaj Pulsar 150 which managed to garner 13,535 buyers last month. With the introduction of the new P150, the sales might soar in the coming months. Notably, since SIAM provides combined sales figure for the Pulsar NS200, RS 200, N160, and NS 160, we have skipped including the latter two 160cc offerings in this analysis.

Yamaha FZ FI

Clinching the fourth position in this list is Yamaha’s FZ FI series. The FZ-X, FZ S FI, and FZ FI collectively recorded sales of 7,988 units in November. This was nearly the same as the corresponding month last year when the company registered sales of 7,624 units for these motorcycles.

Yamaha R15

The fifth product on this list is another Yamaha, the R15. This series comprises the new R15 V4 and the R15S which is the slightly tweaked version of the older V3 model. Both these bikes concertedly registered sales of 7,427 units last month which is down from 8,392 units in November last year.
