The Hero Pleasure Plus 110 has been launched in India and gets cosmetic as well as a mechanical upgrades. We bring to you the five unique highlights of the newest scooter from Hero Motocorp.
New styling
Hero has gone back to the drawing board while designing the Pleasure Plus 110. The scooter follows the design cues of the earlier version but gets sleeker and smooth lines flowing all through its bodywork. While its dimensions are slightly bigger than the previous-gen, the Pleasure 110 continues to tip the scale at 101kg.
Bigger engine
One of the major upgrades on the Pleasure Plus 110 is its engine. It is now powered by a bigger 110.9cc motor that has been derived from the Duet 110 as compared to the 102cc engine in its predecessor. This motor produces 8bhp of power and 8.7Nm of torque and comes mated to a variomatic gearbox.
Upgraded features
The instrument cluster on the Pleasure Plus 110 is still an analogue unit. However, it has been redesigned giving it a more modern and fresher appeal. The unit displays a speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge along with a side-stand indicator. The Pleasure 110 is also offered with an open glove box on the front apron and a larger under-seat storage with a boot light as standard.
Variety of colour options
Hero has been known to offer an array of colour options for its products and the Pleasure Plus 110 is no different. The scooter is offered in seven colour options- Polestar Blue, Matte Bottle Green, Matte Velvet Red, Solid Red, Glazed Black, Pearl Silver White and Matte Vernier Grey.
Pricing
The Hero Pleasure Plus 110 continues to be offered in two variants- one with steel wheels and the other with alloy wheels priced at Rs 47,300 and Rs 49,300 respectively. This is an increase of Rs 2,200 for both variants over the previous model. In terms of competition, the Pleasure Plus 110 will go head on against the Honda Activa-i, TVS Scooty Zest 110 and Yamaha Ray-Z in the market.
