Outperforming the Jupiter 125 by a big margin in terms of popularity was the swanky Honda Dio. Although it’s based on the same platform as the Activa 6G, the Dio is meant for people who want something more youthful and stylish, mainly on the visual front. Besides amassing a lot of netizens on its model page on BikeWale, the Honda Dio has also been registering decent sales numbers.
3. TVS Jupiter
The 110cc iteration of the TVS Jupiter was way more popular than its bigger 125cc sibling this year. That’s understandable considering the fact that the former has been in the market for a longer duration. It’s more frugal in terms of pricing and mileage and is the closest rival to the wildly successful Honda Activa in India.
Although the TVS Ntorq 125 isn’t the best-selling product in its segment, it was the second most researched offering on BikeWale in 2022. Its product page witnessed over 2.7 million visitors this year mainly due to the interesting updates TVS keeps bestowing it with at regular intervals. This year, the company rolled out the XT variant of the Ntorq 125 which is perhaps the most feature-rich 125cc scooter one can buy.
The Honda Activa 6G not only leads the Indian scooter sales chart every month, but it also registered the highest amount of online visitors on our website.
