Just a few days after the new Apache RR310 was spotted testing somewhere near its factory, TVS sent us an invite to attend the launch of a new motorcycle. This teaser invite was a sure shot hint of the new Apache RR 310. In this story, we’ll tell you five things that are likely to be seen on the new RR 310.
1: Power increase
The new RR 310 is likely to get a bump in power. Currently, the 310cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor makes around 33.5bhp. However, the same engine on the RTR 310 makes a bit more at 35bhp. Interestingly, TVS has tested the RR310 for almost 40bhp according to our sources. So it will be interesting to see if the new RR 310 will get the RTR 310 power output, or if TVS will go a bit crazy and make it churn out 40bhp.
2: Quickshifter
TVS is definitely going to offer a quickshifter in its top-end variant. It will be the same unit as the RTR 310, which works well.
3: Cruise Control & Cooled Seat
TVS always believes in providing top-class features to some of its bikes. So, with the new RR 310, cruise control and even a cooled seat will be offered. If not in all the variants, it will be available in the top-end model.
4: Colours
The new Apache RR 310 is likely to be offered in at least one new colour. Through this, there will be some excitement among the young Indian buyers, as in this segment, most of them look for something aspirational and stylish. We think there will be a new Blue colour will be launched to match the brand's ARCC bike.
5: Price
TVS will increase the price of the Apache RR 310 even though the sales of this motorcycle are quite poor. But being a flagship motorcycle, TVS would want to position it as a premium sports bike and not really care about the profitability of this motorcycle, at least for now.
