5 reasons to buy the TVS Radeon

The Radeon is TVS’s premium 110cc commuter motorcycle in India. Although it gets a design that is similar to its closest rival, the Hero Splendor, the Radeon has a few traits that make it a commendable commuter. Here we list out five reasons why to buy the TVS Radeon.

Comfort

One of the major aspects while considering a motorcycle to use for commuting is the level of comfort it provides. And the TVS Radeon sits high on this marker. It has a long and well-cushioned seat that offers comfort to the rider even after hours on the saddle. Furthermore, the bike’s comfortable riding position is amplified by the rubber tank grips like the ones on the Royal Enfield Classic models.

Quality of parts

TVS has not compromised with the quality of parts on the Radeon. The components are sturdy and look like they are built to last. The quality of plastics is top-notch too and so is the feel of the switchgear. Most importantly, the Radeon sports a chrome headlamp bezel, chrome bezels in its instrument cluster along with a brown seat that exudes a premium feel to the motorcycle.

Engine and Fuel Efficiency

The 109cc, single-cylinder engine on the TVS Radeon feels more punchy and enthusiastic as compared to its competition. The grunt of the exhaust note makes it sound like a higher capacity motorcycle and adds to its appeal. As for mileage, the Radeon might not be the most fuel-efficient commuter in the market but it returns a decent average of around 58-61kmpl.

Brakes

The brakes on the Radeon are commendable enough for them to get a separate section in this article. Although the Radeon get drum brakes on both ends, the setup has good bite and progression. TVS has equipped the bike with SBT (Sync Braking Technology) which is one of the least intrusive systems available.

Variety of colour options

Other manufacturers also offer their commuter motorcycles with a variety of colour options so how is this any different? Well, the Radeon is offered in six paint schemes which have a premium finish. The colours include; white, beige, purple, black, red and silver.
