The Bajaj Dominar 250 has received its first price hike since it was launched in the Indian market in March 2020. The quarter-litre motorcycle, which was launched at Rs 1,60,000, is now available at Rs 1,64,090 (both ex-showroom Delhi prices). Despite the price increase of Rs 4,090, the Bajaj Dominar 250 is one of the most value-for-money products in its segment.
The price hike does not bring any cosmetic or mechanical changes to the quarter-litre motorcycle. Thus, the Dominar 250 continues to use Dominar 400 inspired styling along with features such as full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, split-seats, and a twin-pod exhaust. The hardware on the motorcycle includes 37mm upside-down front forks and preload-adjustable mono-shock at the back to perform the suspension tasks. The anchoring setup includes disc brakes on both wheels, while dual-channel ABS handles the safety tasks.
The motorcycle uses a BS6-compliant 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 26.6bhp of power and 23.5Nm of peak torque. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The Dominar 250 rivals the likes of Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha FZ25 in the Indian market.
