- Honda Hornet 2.0 now in showrooms
- Priced at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Honda Hornet 2.0 was launched in India last month and the motorcycle has started arriving in dealerships across India.
The dealerships are accepting bookings for the Hornet 2.0 for a token amount ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. And according to dealers deliveries are expected to take place by the end of this month. The Hornet 2.0 marks Honda’s foray into the 180cc-200cc segment which has the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and Hero Xtreme 200R. It borrows styling cues from the Hornet 160R- the bike it has replaced and features an aggressively styled LED headlight, X-shaped taillight, and a stubby exhaust. The muscular fuel tank, split seats, and an engine cowl further completes the look.
Honda has equipped the Hornet 2.0 with features like single-channel ABS, fully-digital instrument cluster, and full-LED lighting. However, the most interesting bit is the upside down forks- a first in class feature. Powering the Hornet 2.0 is a 184cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor that produces 17bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Honda is offering the motorcycle in four colour options- Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matte Sangria Red Metallic as well as Pearl Igneous Black.
