Benelli India seems to have received a positive response for its newly launched Imperiale 400. Priced at Rs 1.69 lakhs, the cruiser competes directly against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 which is currently leading the segment. The manufacturer had commenced pre-bookings for the motorcycle in September and has managed to receive over 700 bookings in the very first month.
The Imperiale 400 follows a classic-vintage styling with chrome highlights and blacked-out components. It features a round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank with grips, twin-pod meters, two-piece seats and spoke wheels. Benelli is offering the Imperiale 400 with the choice of three colour shades- red, silver and black. The motorcycle is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit that churns out 19bhp of max power and 28Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Subsequently, the motorcycle has started reaching dealerships across the country as deliveries have commenced through a few outlets.
