Benelli recently launched the Imperiale 400 in India with a price tag of Rs 1.69 lakhs (ex-showroom). The manufacturer is offering the motorcycle in three colour options for customers to choose from.
The Imperiale 400 is available in a full black paint which adorns the front and rear fender, side panels and the fuel tank as well. Now, the other two colour options which consist of a maroon shade of red and a silver paint only feature on the fuel tank. The rest of the motorcycle is finished in black. All paint options sport a gold pin-striped logo on the side of the tank that is a nod to classic motorcycles. Moreover, the modern-retro motorcycle is also adorned with chrome components like the wheels, headlamp and tail lamp bezel, turn indicators and even the bezel on the twin-pod instrument cluster that completes its appeal.
Powering the Imperiale 400 is a 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 20.7bhp and 29Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The bike rides on a 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel that are suspended by telescopic forks and twin shocks for the front and rear respectively. Braking hardware consists of a single disc brake at both ends with a dual-channel ABS. Benelli has already commenced bookings for the Imperiale 400 and is offering a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty and two-year complimentary service with the motorcycle. The company will begin deliveries by the end of this month, just in time for the festive season in the country.
