KTM 390 Adventure to be unveiled on 5-6 November

- 390 Adventure official unveil at EICMA

- India launch in December

- Will be powered by a retuned 373cc engine

The wait will finally be over! KTM’s most awaited motorcycle, the 390 Adventure will be revealed to the world at the 2019 EICMA Show in Italy.  

There have been many instances in the past where we saw countless number of test mules doing the rounds around Pune and that revealed quite a lot about the motorcycle. According to our sources, the upcoming 390 Adventure will share a lot of design elements with the 790 Adventure. So things like the long seat, fuel tank covered with large shrouds and full LED headlamp will be seen on the 390 Adventure.  

Almost all test mules which have been spotted on the road were running 19-inch front and 17-inch alloy wheels at the back, which makes us believe that we’ll only see the alloy version at the 2019 EICMA. The 390 Adventure’s closest competitor, the BMW G310GS also sports alloy wheels, which makes it more of a tourer than an adventure motorcycle. There’s a spoke wheel version under development too, but won’t see the light of the day for at least a year.  

Powering the motorcycle will be a retuned version of the 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that the 390 Duke uses. The KTM 390 Adventure will be equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled TFT display and also get ride modes along with a ride-by-wire throttle system. As previous spy images have revealed, KTM will offer the bike with touring accessories like a luggage rack, saddle stays and a taller windscreen. 

Like we mentioned a few months ago, India will be the first country to get the 390 Adventure. The official launch is planned in December and is likely to become the most expensive single-cylinder KTM to be sold in India.
