- Okinawa to launch a new scooter called Lite
- Sports a quirky design language
- Likely to get similar features as the Praise Pro
Okinawa has been spotted testing a new electric scooter in India called the Lite. The Lite gets a quirky and unconventional bodywork. Up front is a large, full-LED headlamp with LED DRL that is flanked by a round turn indicator on each side. The scooter gets a large floorboard as well and the apron features a glovebox, hook and the start/stop button. Moreover, the Okinawa Lite has an interesting design for the rear end. It incorporates a curvy yet boxy styling with a tail lamp that integrates the turn indicators.
Since this is the first time that the Okinawa Lite has been spotted, details of its motor and battery are unknown. However, it could use the same power train as the Okinawa Praise Pro. On the other hand, the spy images have revealed that the electric scooter will come with a digital instrument cluster and three ride modes. The manufacturer is likely to launch the Lite soon, mostly in the next couple of months. We expect it to be positioned above the Okinawa Praise Pro and demand a slight premium over the latter.
