- New V-Strom 1000 teased
- Will sport new styling
- Will be powered by a Euro 5 compliant engine
Suzuki has released a teaser video on its YouTube channel. In all probability, this teaser video features the new V-Strom 1000.
The Japanese bike maker revealed as little information as possible. But we managed to see a few aspects that allowed us to make out that the bike in the video is the V-Strom 1000. We could spot a big fuel tank, a large windscreen and hand guards – something that’s already seen on the current V-Strom. Then we could also spot the off-road centric peg which clearly suggests the nature of the motorcycle. A large bash plate was present as well.
There’s hardly any performance information available on the new V-Strom 1000. But we are expecting it to be powered by a Euro 5 compliant model. The power figures are likely to go down marginally. But if Suzuki has managed to increase the displacement, then there could be a significant rise in power and torque figures too.
We can expect more teasers from Suzuki as we get closer to EICMA. But to be honest, we are quite eager to see the new V-Strom 1000 and we hope it comes to India early next year.
