- Three wheeled scooter unveiled by Yamaha
- Goes by the name Tricity 300
- Official specifications reveal at 2019 EICMA
Yamaha has unveiled a new scooter that has three wheels and it leans. This new Tricity 300 was unveiled at the ongoing 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
This new scooter is based on concept called 3CT prototype that was showcased in 2018. It will be positioned between the Tricity 125 and the more premium Niken. In terms of design, the Tricity 300 does carry some of the styling from the current family, but now offers fresher and a bit meaner look. Unfortunately, the Japanese manufacturer hasn’t revealed any specifications or pricing but is claiming to be the best in class. All we know right now is that the Tricity 300 can be ridden by full car licence holders in Europe and will be available in three colours.
Yamaha plans to reveal all the details about this scooter on 4 November at 2019 EICMA. Will this scooter come to India? Not any time in the future as there’s no market for three wheeled scooters as of now.
