Kawasaki has finally launched an ABS equipped twin-cylinder Z250 in Indonesia. Until now, the motorcycle has been available with ABS in the manufacturer’s home country, Japan. This ABS equipped version of the motorcycle has now been revealed on Kawasaki’s official Indonesian website.
Design wise, the Z250 has majority of its mass up front and features a minimalistic tail design to give it a dynamic character. With an upright riding position, the bike is good for city riding as well as for touring. The Kawasaki features an analogue tachometer with a multi-function LCD screen that displays a wide range of data like trip meters, fuel indicator and much more.
The Z250 is powered by a 249cc, parallel-twin, fuel injected engine which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This liquid cooled engine develops 32bhp of power at 11,000 rpm. The only addition to the mechanicals is the ABS unit.
According to the price on the website, the 2016 Kawasaki Z250 with ABS is priced at IDR 59.6 million (Rs 2.97 lakh).
