TVS Motor Company has taken the wraps off the all-new 2023 Apache RTR 160 4V in India with a price tag of Rs 1.30 lakh, ex-showroom. This is the same as the special edition model that was introduced in 2022.
Now, TVS has kitted the Apache RTR 160 4V with upgrades for the new model year. To begin with, it sports an adjustable clutch and brake levers, which is the first in the segment. It also gets a redesigned exhaust canister. This muffler is 1kg lighter than the previous unit and claims to amplify the exhaust note too. Along with this, the 2023 Apache RTR 160 has also been fitted with a dual-tone, red and black seat that goes well with the all-new Pearl White colour that is combined with red on the wheels and tank stripe.
Apart from this, the 2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V remains the same as before. It comes powered by a 159.7cc, oil-cooled, four-valve engine that is capable of churning out 17.40bhp and 14.73Nm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. In terms of features, the bike gets a full-LED headlamp, three riding modes and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The Apache RTR 160 4V competes against the Bajaj Pulsar N160, Hero Xtreme 160R, Yamaha FZ-S, Honda Hornet 160R and Suzuki Gixxer as well.
