- Bajaj Pulsar 250 to be launched in India in November
- Will come in naked and semi-faired versions
- To be followed by smaller Pulsars based on the same platform
Bajaj Auto will launch the all-new Pulsar 250 in November 2021 in India, as revealed by the company's MD, Rajiv Bajaj, in a recent interview. Although the top honcho didn’t state the exact displacement of the bike, he did call it the ‘biggest Pulsar’ ever made. And considering the Pulsar 220F, which is the largest Pulsar model at present, Rajiv Bajaj was surely referring to the Pulsar 250.
The spokesperson also said that this brand new Pulsar platform will spawn smaller models over 12 months after launching the Pulsar 250. This was quite certain as the brand has already been following this practice with the existing Pulsars. In fact, even the 250cc iteration will have two different variants including a naked bike and a semi-faired derivative.
Alongside this revelation, a group of test mules of the Pulsar 250 were also spied around Pune recently. Interestingly, the spy shot gave us the first look at the front fascia of the naked Pulsar 250. With a projector LED headlamp flanked by tiny LED DRLs, the front end of this bike resembles that of the Yamaha FZ25 to some extent. Despite the test mule being fully camouflaged, what else could be clearly deciphered is the muscular fuel tank section and a sharp tail.
We recently did a detailed video on what all we expect from the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250 models and you can watch it here.
