- Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250 teased
- Looks similar to the Pulsar 250F
- Official launch scheduled on 28 October
Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the all-new Pulsar 250 in India on 28 October, 2021. Ahead of the official debut, the Chakan-based bike maker has released a new teaser video of the motorcycle. This teaser reveals a host of details about the bike, some of which we have already deciphered through its spy images.
Although we have seen spy shots of a naked and a semi-faired Pulsar 250, the teaser suggests that Bajaj might launch only the latter first. The design of the bike hasn’t been shown clearly in the video. However, the overall silhouette and certain cosmetic elements indicate that it takes inspiration from the existing Pulsar 220F. Especially the large front end with a projector LED headlamp and boomerang-styled DRLs looks closely similar to the Pulsar 220F. It also gets Pulsar’s traditional twin strip LED tail lamp.
The upcoming Pulsar 250 will also receive a fully digital instrument cluster, which will be the first such console in this family. We can also spot a clip-on handlebar and a split-type seat set up which should give it a sporty character. However, the rider can be seen sitting pretty upright which means the ergonomics will be on the comfortable side.
There isn’t much information available about the Pulsar 250’s powerplant, except for the tentative displacement of 250cc. However, we strongly believe that this motor will be capable of producing around 25bhp. The spotted test mules have also revealed that the engine is an air/oil-cooled unit, instead of a liquid-cooled set-up. The rest of the hardware comprises 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, a monoshock, and a single disc at both ends.
