- 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa India launch soon
- Gets major updates
- Could be priced between Rs 16-18 lakh
Suzuki Motorcycles has listed the all-new Hayabusa on its Indian website suggesting that the motorcycle could be launched in the country soon.
While the previous generation was priced at Rs 13.7 lakh, we can expect the new model to cost around Rs 16-18 lakh, ex-showroom. And the reason for the premium is the host of updates the new Suzuki Hayabusa gets. To begin with, it features a refreshed design that is sharper than before. It also gets full-LED lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp and turn signals. Moreover, Suzuki has also revised the frame to reduce weight and offer 50:50 weight distribution.
Underneath the new styling and frame is the same 1340cc, inline-four engine that has been retuned to churn out 188bhp at 9,700rpm as against the previous gen’s 194bhp. However, the 150Nm of torque which is decreased from 155Nm comes in earlier at 7,000rpm. Besides this, Suzuki has also added a host of electronic aids to the 2021 Hayabusa’s package.
It includes a six-axis IMU system, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, traction control, anti-lift control system, engine brake control, launch control, active speed limiter, as well as five riding modes. The list also includes low RPM assist, cruise control along with slope and hill control. To top it all, the bike now comes with a TFT LCD screen fitted between the analogue tachometer and speedometer.
