- RS 440 was recently spied testing in India
- Likely to be launched around the festive period
- Expected to get a 440cc, parallel-twin motor
The Aprilia RS 440 was spied testing recently in India. It is expected to feature a 440cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor that is likely to produce 48bhp and is expected to have a top speed of 180kmph. But, when will it be launched? What features will it get? And more importantly, how much will it be priced? We answer all these questions in this video.
The Aprilia RS 440 will compete against the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400, TVS Apache RR310 and the upcoming Yamaha R3. The RS 440 is expected to be powered by a 440cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that is likely to produce around 48bhp. It will be mated to a six-speed transmission and could have a top speed of around 180kph.
The RS 440 will have a sporty, yet comfortable, riding position. It will also have premium components, such as upside-down forks, a large front disc brake, and a full-LED lighting system. It is also expected to have a TFT instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity. Aprilia is planning to launch the RS 440 in India around the festive season this year. The price has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be more expensive than the KTM RC 390.
