Aprilia showcased the RS150 for the first time to the world at the 2018 Auto Expo. The bike is built on the underpinnings of the RS125, which is sold internationally. The RS150 is still in its pre-production stage and the company has not announced any timeline for a launch. However, once launched, it will compete with the Yamaha R15 V3.0. We have compiled a photo gallery of the Aprilia RS150 from the 2018 Auto Expo, here it is-
The Aprilia RS150 borrows its aggressive styling from its bigger supersport sibling, the RSV4.
It gets the trademark triple-headlamp unit with LED DRLs, sharp lines throughout and a triangular pillion seat.
The RS150 gets an underbelly exhaust unlike the RSV4; however one would mistake the bike for the latter at first glance.
The Aprilia RS150 uses a 150cc single-cylinder engine that produces 18bhp and 14Nm of torque via a six-speed gearbox.
Aprilia will provide a quickshifter as optional accessory on the RS150 for customers who want a more race focused machine.
The part-digital instrument cluster gets an analogue tachometer and looks similar to the one on the RSV4.
The RS150 uses a 300mm and 218mm disc brake for the front and rear respectively.
Aprilia displayed the RS150 with single-channel ABS and upside down forks, although the manufacturer might not offer the same for a competitive pricing.
