- RSV4 1100 Factory priced at Rs 22.4 lakhs
- Gets top-spec components
- Available until April 1, 2020
Aprilia showcased its flagship supersport motorcycle, the RSV4 1100 Factory at the 2020 Auto Expo in India. And while no announcement was made, Aprilia has confirmed that the motorcycle is available in India for a price tag of Rs 22.4 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The RSV4 1100 RF is powered a 1,100cc V4 engine similar to the Tuono 1100. However, the RSV4’s motor gets a slightly bigger bore, secondary oil injector, a new oil pump along with revisions to the ECU. This has resulted in a power output of 217bhp and 122Nm. To put a leash on all of this power, the RSV4 1100 Factory comes with traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and cruise control. Moreover, it comes equipped with top-spec braking and suspension setup sourced from Brembo and Ohlins respectively.
In terms of styling, the RSV4 1100 Factory doesn’t stray too far away from the standard version although it gets carbon-fibre MotoGP-inspired aero winglets on each side of the fairing. To complete the package, Aprilia has also thrown in a titanium Akrapovic exhaust. Now the only catch here is that the motorcycle isn’t BS6 compliant and will be on sale in India only till April 1, 2020.
