A slew of manufacturers launched their premium 125cc scooters in the Indian market recently. Aprilia joined the band with the SR125. Even though the scooter misses out on ‘premium’ features, it gives its rivals something to worry about when it comes to performance. Here is the photo gallery of the SR125-
The scooter retains the design language of its bigger sibling, the Aprilia SR150.
However, the SR125 differentiates itself with different colour schemes, decals and badging.
The SR125 sports an all-black seat with a strap for the pillion, and loses on the split grab rail.
Under the skin is a 125cc engine that produces 9.5bhp at 7,250rpm and 9.9Nm of torque at 6,250rpm.
Braking duties are done by a 220mm disc at the front and a 140mm drum brake setup at the rear.
The SR125 retains the same 14-inch wheels shod with 120/70 section front and rear tyres as the SR150.
Priced at Rs 65,310 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the SR125 is around Rs 4000 cheaper than the SR150.
