Apart from the new SR 125, Aprilia also showcased the new Storm 125 at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Storm 125 is based on the same platform as the SR 150, although it benefits from trendier paint schemes and chunky tyres. Here is a photo gallery of the Aprilia Storm 125 -
The Storm 125 is based on the same underbone chassis as the other two Aprilia scooters, and even carries forward the sporty styling.
However, the Storm 125 does get unique matte paint schemes and loud decals to set it apart from the crowd.
Aprilia has also ditched the pillion grab rail to give the Storm 125's tail section a clean look.
It also features 12-inch alloy wheels shod with chunky Vee Rubber tyres which should also be good for off-road use.
The Storm 125 will be offered with a slew of accesories like a tall windscreen which should offer good protection against windblast.
Powering the Storm 125 is a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 9.5bhp and 9.9Nm of torque.
Even though it gets smaller wheels, Aprilia is offering a front disc brake for the Storm 125. The rear continues with a drum brake.
The Storm 125 will be positioned between the SR 150 and the SR 125, and we expect it to be priced around Rs 68,000.
