- BS6 models carry a massive price premium over BS4 scooters
- All vehicles are available at dealerships
- Styling cues do not receive a major makeover
Dealer sources have shared the prices of all the BS6 compliant Aprilia scooters that are available in the Indian market. Here we list the complete prices of the BS6 models and compare them with the ex-showroom tags of the respective BS4 scooters.
The BS6 models carry a massive premium over their respective BS4 variants. The scooter that is most affected by the price increase is the SR 160 Carbon, which is Rs 19,441 more expensive than before. The styling cues on the BS6 scooters aren’t too different from the respective BS4 models.
Mechanical specifications on the BS6 compliant 125 range, too, are similar to the BS4 vehicles. The larger displacement model range, on the other hand, gets a higher cubic capacity in BS6 guise. The engine specifications on the SR 160 range comprise of a 160cc, fuel-injected, three-valve motor that produces 10.7bhp at 7600rpm and 11.6Nm at 6000rpm.
The BS6 compliant Aprilia scooters have started to arrive at dealerships, and they are available for bookings. Meanwhile, the company is working on expanding its product portfolio with the launch of the SRX 160 that is scheduled to arrive in the Q3 (July-September) of 2020.
