Piaggio India has increased the prices of the Aprilia SXR 125 and SXR 160 in India along with the rest of its lineup. The scooter is now dearer by Rs 4,458 and Rs 4,319 respectively.
So, the Aprilia SXR 125 is priced at Rs 1,31,664 as opposed to the previous price of Rs 1,27,206. On the other hand, the SXR 160 now costs Rs 1,42,802 which is higher than the Rs 1,38,483 it was priced at earlier. However, the hike in pricing hasn’t brought about any change mechanically or cosmetically.
The two scooters sport similar maxi-scooter styling with a large front apron that gets RSV4-like split-LED headlamps`and turn signals integrated too. The mid-to-rear section is visually long and ends in a sharp design for the tail lamp too. That said, the SXR 125 and SXR 160 both get floorboard space unlike the Yamaha Aerox 155, even though it is nothing substantial. Speaking of which the Aprilia SXR 160 now more than the Aerox 155 that retails at Rs 1.38 lakh. The SXR 125, on the other hand, costs a whopping Rs 43,764 more than its rival the Suzuki Burgman Street 125.
