Aprilia recently revealed the pricing for the SXR 125 in India pegging it at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). And the manufacturer is offering the scooter in a choice of four colours.
The SXR 125 available in white, blue, red, and black- all of which come with grey alloy wheels and sporty graphics on the side panels at the front and rear. The scooter also sports an ‘Aprilia’ logo on the underside panel and the ‘SXR 125’ badging that is probably the only visual element that differentiates it from the bigger SXR 160. Although it also gets smaller, 12-inch wheels compared to the SXR 160 that sports 14-inch wheels.
Powering the SXR 125 is a 125cc, single-cylinder, three-valve motor derived from the SR 125. It is capable of churning out 9.4bhp of power at 7,600rpm and 9.2Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. Nevertheless, the rest of the components like suspension, braking, and features are the same as its bigger sibling- the SXR 160.
In terms of competition, the Aprilia SXR 125 goes up against the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 in the country.
